Lower Crypt entrance

You have reached a lower level of the Crypt. The stonework around you is older and rougher than that of the upper level or the church nave.

• Ahead of you there is a picture gallery of old-testamentarian female martyrs and heroïnes.
• There is a ancient winding stair leading to an even deeper level. Mind your step: The stones are uneven and slippery, for the air down there is damp!

• You can, of course, return to the upper level of the Crypt.
